Stable Stalking: Yolanda Hadid’s Farm in New Hope, Pennsylvania

For those who love East Coast charm and historic farmhouses, try not to drool. The mother to supermodels Bella and Gigi snapped up a gorgeous full-restored 32-acre horse lovers oasis in 2017, but it was not until coronavirus set in that we got a full tour of Yolanda Hadid‘s farm. Thanks to Instagram, we’ve had an inside peek at the gorgeous horse farm frequented by Gigi, baby Khai, Zayn, and Bella.

Like many historic properties in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, Yolanda Hadid’s farm dates back to 1781, and the property records go back even further. William Penn actually deeded the land in 1682 (you know, the English Quaker and religious freedom advocate who founded the colony of Pennsylvania). The estate has been a dairy farm, a horse farm, randomly, an exotic animal farm, and most recently, a chic country house and lavender farm.

Hadid, for one, seems to be sticking with the lavender for now. The property also boasts a swimming pool, vegetable and flower gardens, a fire pit, and a stunning outdoor dining table overlooking the stone, wood, and glass stables.

Yolanda, Gigi, and Bella have been avid equestrians and have taken riding lessons for years. The bonafide supermodels hole up at their mother’s farm when they need relaxation and a break from non-stop work and travel, and they spent their quarantine time there as well. While it’s tough for them to resist the occasional selfie-with-horse (we’ve all been there), both girls have shot stunning fashion shoots on the property.

In addition to horses, there are chickens, goats, sheep, and some highland cattle that also call the farm home. Aaaaaand a few miniature horses. But if you follow Yolanda Hadid’s Instagram closely, it sometimes seems as though the miniatures live inside the house.

Yolanda Hadid’s farm is certainly a gathering place for all Hadid children, including Anwar Hadid and his former girlfriend Dua Lipa. Last winter, Yolanda, Bella, and Dua went horseback riding on the family farm, and Yolanda shared some sweet snaps on her Instagram. Yolanda also did not hesitate to share baby photos of Gigi on one of her first pony rides as a child, and one can only guess that baby Khai will be following in her footsteps.

Yolanda Hadid’s farm is the ultimate inspiration for horse lovers. Space for 2-3 horses, open outdoor spaces, beautiful indoor ring flooded with light, large turnout paddocks . . . the list goes on. For those in the tri-state area who love a historic home, Bucks Country, Pennsylvania is not a place to be overlooked. A quick two-hour drive from New York, your country escape awaits.
